Motivation
…is the drive to consume one’s energies to the point that they carry you forward, through walls of doubt, through seas of tiredness and fear, toward some fulfilling goal. The journey ultimately ends where it begins. With you. Always remember, the glass is half full.
Observation is a beautiful intuitive skill which we can all learn to cultivate. It is no science, of course. Rather, it emanates from our embrace of studying human energy. Highly successful people are always motivated. In observing my most successful students I have realized that they are also always the hardest workers too.
You can ascertain a person’s intelligence by studying his eyes. A person’s eyes are indeed a window into his soul. But eyes also convey one’s energy, ambition, confidence and motivation.
Most successful people I have met are not arrogant. They are usually the kindest people you will meet… kind but confident.
There is an acute reason for this.
Most of us have at one time or another tapped into our own inner strength. As such we have realized some accomplishment that sets us apart from others. We have …waltzed with our own Inner Light. And in doing so we have known genuine fulfillment. Ultimately though we also come to realize that there is always someone in the world who can do something better or with greater facility than we.
We in effect realize that more often than not that there is always someone ahead of us. This realization has a tempering effect. First we realize that real accomplishment requires of us much effort and diligence. In short it requires that we work hard to be the best that can possibly be.
Secondly, though, one becomes humbled to perceive that as he is being admired by the man next to him, so he too admires another. In finality it is this realization of nature’s chain of energy which both links us with our brothers in a very transcendent sort of way, while at the same time reveals to us the very real natural hierarchy in which we live.
Most successful people that I have encountered then possess a beautiful balance of humility and human kindness with an enduring and unbreakable self-confidence. This is the quality which makes them shine. This is the quality which makes You shine.
